Glock gun originally was designed by the Austrian gun company named GlockGesm.b.H. This company tries to design a new type of gun to fulfill Austria government announcement that seek a new type of modern gun to replace their World War 2 era gun. The Austrian government introduces these features to be included in the next gun model. The gun design must have a self-loading system in their designs. Then, the round used in this new model must use the NATO standard 9x15mm parabellum rounds. The magazine in this new type must have a minimum capacity of 8 rounds and loading the magazine does not need any assistance. After the Austria Government announce this feature the GlockGesm.b.H the starting to design a new type of pistol which consist all of the feature included in the announcement. The hard work resulted in the the new Glock Type 17 that was hailed as the first prototype of the other Glock guns.
Glock guns the introduced to the public and known as the new generation of gun that has different features from the old type gun in the World War 2. First, this gun introduces a new polymer frame design that increases the overall balance of the gun performance. Second, this gun introduces a new Glock trigger system that increase the accuracy of the gun compared with the standard and old type gun. Third, The Glock gun is easy to use because it does not need a certain kinds of maintenance. Fourth, The Glock gun can be easily enhanced by changing some of their parts.
By changing the parts of the Glock user can increase the gun overall performance. For example, user can change the Glock trigger into different kinds of triggers that manufactured by the Glock company. Changing the Glock trigger will result in a better accuracy and performance of the gun itself.
